Inspiration Much?

Good Morning!  Today is a beautiful day! I can't wait to get out and play.

Before I do - I wanted to share a friend's story. While studying in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho I had the honour of meeting an Anusara Inspired Teacher named Jenifer Harbour. Jen is a little tough, quick witted, extremely knowledgeable, Goddess of a teacher. The first time I met her - she mentioned that she taught yoga at the Juvenile Delinquent Center in her area. My interest was instantly peeked. Recently, I started reading her blog and thought I would share with you. There are two posts that really stand out, so I'll link them (click on the bolded title) - but the whole blog is worth the read.

"Hugs" and "I'm not Opening"

"Hugs" is about a conversation she had with a boy that literally moved me to tears. "I'm Not Opening" is a poem she got from one of the boys as he turned 18 and was moving to the big league - jail for adults.

The work that can be done through yoga is endless. One of the things I like the most about yoga is that it knows no boundaries. It's open to absolutely everyone - all one has to do is show up.

Jen must be an incarnate of the Goddess Kali.
